How we calculated this
Vendelux 2025 measured a 12-month sample of corporate and association RFPs sent through their platform plus partner systems.
An RFP is counted as 'ignored' if no proposal nor decline arrived within 14 calendar days from the planner's deadline.
European MICE-only sub-sample: 32% in 2025 vs 37% in 2024 — the trend is improving but still implies you should over-invite by 30-40% to hit a target shortlist size.
